What a blended rate hides

Not dishonest, and stated openly on their own page. It still changes what you can check.

Bird: One rate per message delivered, with Meta's share already inside it. Their page explains that Bird charges its send fee during processing and records Meta's share from the delivery receipt.

EasyCoexistence: Two separate bills that never mix. Meta invoices the client for conversations on their own WhatsApp Business Account, and we invoice for the connection. You can audit either one against its source because they were never combined.

What happens when Meta changes its rates

Meta revises conversation pricing periodically, and the two models pass that through differently.

Bird: A blended rate has to be revised when the underlying rate moves, which is a change to the number you are quoted.

EasyCoexistence: Nothing on our side moves. Meta's change appears on the client's Meta invoice, at Meta's own rate, on the date Meta applies it. Our fee is for the connection and has no relationship to what a message costs.

What each product is organised around

Both send WhatsApp messages. They are not competing for the same job.

Bird: Messages are processed and billed as they pass through the platform, which is what makes the campaign and analytics tooling possible.

EasyCoexistence: Message events go from Meta straight to your endpoint through Meta's own override. They do not pass through us and we do not store them, which is why there is nothing per message for us to charge for.
