EasyCoexistence vs Z-API

How each one reaches WhatsApp

Z-API: Its documentation says that, just like WhatsApp Web, connecting requires scanning a QR code or entering a phone number. Its own site describes the official Cloud API as a separate path and itself as a market alternative to it.

EasyCoexistence: Meta's Cloud API, with credentials Meta issues to the business's own WhatsApp Business Account, connected through Meta's Embedded Signup. The number is registered as an API number and the WhatsApp Business app carries on working on the same phone.

What it costs per number

Both charge per number, which makes this one of the few comparisons where the units match.

Z-API: R$ 99,99 per instance per month on the Ultimate plan, or R$ 89,99 per instance on the Partner plan with a minimum of ten instances, as published on their site. The trial is two days.

EasyCoexistence: US$ 9 per connected number per month for one to five numbers, falling across six bands to US$ 1 each as you add numbers. The first three days are free, and Meta bills its messaging charges directly to the business, never marked up.

What happens to the number if WhatsApp acts

This is the risk a per-instance price does not show.

Z-API: A linked-device session is not a route WhatsApp's business terms sanction for automated business messaging, and an account reached that way can be restricted or banned.

EasyCoexistence: The connection is Meta's own feature, made through Meta's own flow, by an independent Meta Tech Provider. There is nothing about how the number connects that WhatsApp can enforce against.

Keeping the phone in use

Most small businesses on either product still answer customers from the phone, so this decides how the day looks.

Z-API: The instance is a linked session in the WhatsApp Web sense, so it lasts only as long as that link stays alive. Their site does not mention Meta's Coexistence feature.

EasyCoexistence: Coexistence is the whole product. The team keeps the WhatsApp Business app, the API runs on the same number, and the connection is monitored so a drop, such as Meta's 14-day rule, is flagged as soon as it happens.
