What each one is for

The products are aimed at different problems, and that is the first thing worth being clear about.

Twilio: A communications platform covering SMS, voice, email and WhatsApp, built for engineering teams assembling messaging across many channels. WhatsApp is one channel among many, priced the same way as the rest: per message.

EasyCoexistence: A Coexistence specialist. The WhatsApp Business app on the phone keeps working, the Cloud API runs on the same number, message events go to your own endpoint, and we watch the connection. One job, done completely.

What the pricing does as you grow

This is the difference that compounds, and it is arithmetic rather than opinion.

Twilio: US$ 0.005 per message, inbound and outbound, on top of whatever Meta charges. The fee scales with every conversation, so the cost of the platform is a function of how well the business is doing.

EasyCoexistence: A flat fee per connected number. Ten thousand messages in a month cost the same as ten. Success makes the platform cheaper per message, not more expensive, and at volume the per-number price falls too.

Who holds the WhatsApp account

Where the number and the Meta relationship live decides how easily either side can leave.

Twilio: Numbers are onboarded through Twilio's senders, and the messaging relationship runs through Twilio's infrastructure, which is also where the billing relationship sits.

EasyCoexistence: The number stays in the client's own Meta Business Portfolio, on their own WhatsApp Business Account, with Meta billing them directly for conversations. We are the Tech Provider that connected it, and removing us does not take the number with it.

Where the messages go

Both deliver inbound messages to a server you control. What differs is the path and what sits on it.

Twilio: Inbound messages arrive at your webhook through Twilio, which processes and bills each one as it passes.

EasyCoexistence: We set Meta's own override_callback_uri on the WhatsApp Business Account, so message events go from Meta straight to your endpoint. They do not pass through us, we do not store them, and there is nothing on the path to meter.

Reaching it from an AI assistant

The newer question, and the one a general purpose platform has less reason to answer.

Twilio: A full REST API with SDKs across the major languages, metered at their published US$ 0.005 per message, so the integration you write is billed every time it sends or receives.

EasyCoexistence: The same API underneath, plus a remote MCP connector with eleven tools over OAuth, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code can list numbers, check health, send messages and set webhook destinations without anyone writing a client.
