How do you add it to ChatGPT?
Open Settings, go to Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on developer mode. That is what exposes the option to add a connector by URL rather than choosing from the built in list.
Add a connector pointing at the EasyCoexistence MCP endpoint. The first time ChatGPT calls a tool it opens a sign in, and you authorise it there. Nothing is generated, copied or pasted, because the connector uses OAuth rather than an API key.
The server itself is remote. Nothing is installed, nothing runs in the background on your machine, and closing ChatGPT does not affect a connected number in any way.
What can ChatGPT do once it is connected?
Ask in plain language and it picks the tool. Which of my numbers is unhealthy. Send this customer their booking confirmation. Create a template for order updates and tell me when Meta approves it. Point this number's webhook at my server.
The reading tools cover listing numbers, checking quality rating, messaging tier and connection state, and pulling the credentials when something else needs them. The sending tools cover free text inside the session window and approved templates outside it.

What can it not do?
React to an incoming message, and this is worth being clear about because it is what most people assume an assistant will do.
MCP is request and response. ChatGPT calls a tool when you ask it to. There is no mechanism for a customer's WhatsApp message to wake ChatGPT up and have it reply on its own at three in the morning. Nothing about our connector changes that, and no MCP server in any product does.
Automatic replies are the webhook path: Meta delivers incoming messages to a system you run, and that system decides what to do. The two work together, and the connector can even set the webhook destination for you.
Common mistakes
- Expecting it to answer customers automatically. MCP acts when asked; incoming messages need a webhook.
- Looking for EasyCoexistence in the built in connector list. It is added by URL with developer mode on.
- Assuming a key is needed. The connector authorises over OAuth and there is nothing to paste.

Does ChatGPT see my customers' conversations?
Only what you ask for. Incoming messages route from Meta to the webhook destination you nominate, and we never store conversation content.
Can it connect a new number?
It can start the process. The connector returns a link the business owner opens to authorise their own number through Meta's flow.
Does it work with the same account as Claude?
